At All Major Appliances, we are dedicated to supplying parts of the highest quality, supported by a commitment to exceptional customer service.

We aim to make the return process as simple and efficient as possible, and we will respond to all return or exchange requests promptly and professionally.

The policy outlined is to ensure clarity and consistency in how we handle returns. We kindly request that all customers - both retail and trade - carefully review the return policy set out below.

Important: This policy does not revoke your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including any Non-Excludable Obligations.

Lodge a return

1. Incorrectly Ordered or Change of Mind Returns

All Major Appliances understands that sometimes the wrong item may be ordered, or a change of mind can occur. We offer a reasonable returns policy to assist customers who have ordered the incorrect item(s) or no longer require the item(s).

Where items are returned due to a change of mind or incorrect ordering, the customer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs. This includes any costs associated with repackaging the item(s) for safe return.

(a) You may return new, unused, and uninstalled items for a refund or exchange, provided that:
    (i) The return is initiated and posted within 30 days of the order confirmation email from All Major Appliances;
    (ii) The item is returned in its original, unused, and saleable condition;
    (iii) The item is in original packaging, including any branded boxes, polythene bags, and item literature such as wiring diagrams, instruction manuals, and/or compliance certificates (where applicable).(b) Items that have been installed, used, damaged, modified, or handled improperly may be rejected for return at the sole discretion of All Major Appliances.

(a) Upon receiving the returned item(s), All Major Appliances will conduct an inspection to determine compliance with the return conditions outlined in Clause 1.3.
(b) If, in our reasonable opinion, the returned item(s) do not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to:
    (i) Refuse a return; and
    (ii) Notify you and arrange for the item(s) to be returned to you at your expense (including shipping both to and from our warehouse).

The following charges are non-refundable:
(a) Original postage charges paid at the time of purchase; and
(b) Any costs incurred by the customer for packaging materials used to return the item(s).

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
(a) Electrical components, including but not limited to PCB boards, globes, and switches;
(b) Factory seconds parts;
(c) Special/made-to-order items.

(a) All Major Appliances monitors return frequency and return value to protect against fraudulent or abusive return activity.
(b) If your account is identified as having an unusually high return rate or value, we reserve the right to:
    (i) Suspend or permanently close your account;
    (ii) Restrict your ability to place future orders.

(a) Upon arrival and inspection of the returned item(s), we will notify you of the outcome of your return.
(b) If your return is approved, we will:
    (i) Issue a refund to your original payment method for the item value (excluding any non-refundable charges in Clause 1.5); or
    (ii) Arrange an exchange for another item(s) of the same type or intended use, subject to availability.

All Major Appliances reserves the right to refuse any return submitted under this Clause 1 where the customer has failed to comply with the conditions set out above.

Nothing in this Clause 1 limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including in respect of faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods.

2. Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Product Returns

In the event that you receive item(s) that are incorrect (i.e., not what was ordered), or damaged, faulty, or defective, you must notify our team within 7 days of receiving the item(s).

Please contact us via (03) 8513 9914 or info@allmajorappliances.com.au , or lodge a return request via our Returns Request Form. You may be required to provide proof of purchase and clear photographic evidence of the issue for preliminary assessment.

If the item(s) are confirmed to be incorrect, damaged, faulty, or defective, All Major Appliances will inform you whether the item(s) need to be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, we will bear the return shipping costs. A pre-paid return postage label will be issued to you, and the item(s) must be lodged in accordance with the instructions provided or as directed by our nominated courier.

Upon arrival of the returned product(s) and confirmation that the returned item(s) match the original shipment based on the unique identifier number assigned, we will:
(a) Replace the item(s), subject to availability; or
(b) Refund the purchase price of the item(s) to your original payment method.

You are entitled to choose between a replacement or a refund, in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If the item(s) are found to be:
(a) Not damaged, faulty, or defective;
(b) Outside the warranty period; or
(c) Not eligible for a refund or replacement under the consumer guarantees of the Australian Consumer Law, we will contact you to determine whether you would prefer the item(s) to be returned to you at your expense or responsibly disposed of.

In such cases, no refund or replacement will be issued.

(a) Items will not be considered faulty or defective if, in our reasonable opinion, its condition has deteriorated due to incorrect installation, misuse, modification, or improper handling following delivery.
(b) Items sold as part of our Factory Seconds range may include minor imperfections or signs of previous use. Any such known details of this will be stated on the relevant product page. These pre-existing conditions do not constitute defects and are not eligible for return under this clause.

3. Order Cancellations

We may cancel your order if the product is unavailable for any reason. Should this occur, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund using the same payment method used at checkout.

If the refund transaction is unsuccessful, we will notify you and make alternative arrangements to process the refund.

If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact our team via (03) 8513 9914 or info@allmajorappliances.com.au. Please ensure you provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Full details of the order you wish to cancel.

This information is required for All Major Appliances to process your cancellation request.

Please note: Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. In such cases, the item(s) must be returned in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Please note: Special orders cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed with our supplier, unless prior approval has been granted by All Major Appliances.

4. Warranty Information

All products listed on our website (www.allmajorappliances.com.au) are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship prior to installation.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Labour or installation costs;
  • Misuse, mishandling, or neglect;
  • Faulty or incorrect installation;
  • Failure of associated or related parts; or
  • Any parts or products not purchased directly from All Major Appliances Pty Ltd.
